Randy, Chris, Holly and Nick landed early in Phoenix on Wednesday. The flight was good--Chris didn't like the take-off...Holly didn't like the landing...and Nick, well, he just didn't care. He loved it actually. All I heard all day was that they actually flew the clouds! They picked up the rental car and was headed to our house. They got a lovely blue colored car that has a 3rd row of seats that will fit all of us!
We didn't do much the first day--had lunch at home, went to library and went for drive since Nick fell asleep. We attempted to go see the fountain in Fountain Hills but it wasn't running because it was so windy. We met Jason at Oregano's for pizza and then came home to celebrate Holly's birthday with a Dairy Queen Ice Cream cake.
Randy decided he wanted to nap during cake...or maybe I just got him with his eyes shut!
Victor was eyeing up the cake...it looks so good, maybe Nick will drop some!
We don't have plans yet for Thursday...we all crashed pretty early. The Langer's were on a 2 hour time difference and I was trying to switch back to sleeping nights!
